When our Savior, Jesus comes will He find faith in the land? Lk 18:8
With the news of the Crypto markets surging amongst other distractions such as all the political instability the world over, Covid 19, and mass deaths and pain like the world have never witnessed, one can only think of how vain and worldly we have become, indeed, we are truly not ready for the return of our Lord Jesus.
I think the church and the world are busy with things that perish. We are so concerned with money and material gains even more now where fame and clout chasing is the language of the day.
In my CHAGRIN, I looked up and I remember the words of Jesus.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Matthew 24:36-39.
I pray we heed the words of God and repent from our worldliness, remember the word of God tells us:
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life[a]—is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
1 John 2:15-17
