35 Jesus replied to them, “[g]I am the Bread of Life. The one who comes to Me will never be hungry, and the one who believes in Me [as Savior] will never be thirsty [for that one will be sustained spiritually].
John 6:35
It is interesting to see our Lord JESUS CHRIST say “I am the Bread of Life. The one who comes to Me will never be hungry…” Jesus Christ actually gave us his body, his flesh as food for our souls, and now, He says, whoever comes to him to eat of it will never hunger which means the soul of such a person will be filled with all the spiritual food they’d ever need but it is also worthy to mention here that Jesus says that “and the one who believes in Me [as Savior] will never be thirsty” and we know that the Holy Spirit is the one who gives us the water of regeneration.
Jesus is saying to us today that when we come to him, we will eat and when we believe in him He will give us the Holy Spirit to fill us and we would never be thirsty again
John 4:14
But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life.”
If you do not come, you would not be fed with the bread and water of life, and your soul will be famished and that would be your fault.
