Can you Really Afford The Life You are Living?

Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.
With the advent of social media and social engineering strategies of the day, we see the world going through a phase of unbridled materialism and consumerism and if believers do not take care they would be swept off with the tide.
Most people are just fronting and faking just about anything and everything about them.
Never forget– people know the real you? So be yourself, don’t front or pretend to be who you are not.
That you believe you deserve something doesn’t mean you can afford it or you must have it. That’s what, “‘turning your light down low” means.
Learn to remove pressures from your life by staying away from people/social pages that glamourize everything. Spend within your means, befriend those who won’t judge you for being conservative with your way of life.
With the alarming rates of suicide these days you wonder what has gotten most tethering on the edges.

Do not love the world nor the things in the world If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.
