There are those waiting for your downfall or sad end if you must know — You heard me right!

 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

Those you discarded along the long road to success, those you maligned and cheated out their portion in life, Those who made the journey smooth for you but are of no use to you today because guess what; ‘You have outgrown them’!!! …and the list goes on…

Let me ask, how much of your successes and good fortunes can you say you got all by yourself? How much of where you got to now, is all by your own effort? How did you manage to grow up without anyone helping you along? What legacy are you going to leave behind? Hmm, even presidents were once toddlers.

Heck, You may not be bothered, it may not even matter at the moment because you are high on your success but pause a while and think about your end;

• will it be rosy or thorny?
• Will you be surrounded by friends or alone in the world?
• Will you have people mourn or cheer at your demise form this material earth?
• Will you have all the riches in the world and be surrounded by schemers who want you out of the way so they can come up, after all, it’s a dog eat dog world –

You say, doggone it!

Always bear in mind that, your material possessions are just material possessions! You can’t take them with you, you might say also, will I take my friends? No, but they would have you in their hearts, no matter how much you love your stuff it won’t remember you and another person will make use of those things you left behind

Personally, I will never understand the need for people to show off their status in a braggadocious manner. It is awfully sad when God has lifted someone and the person, in turn, decides to treat those around them so poorly that it leaves the rejected/dejected broken and sad in the end.

 We have self-centered minds which get us into plenty of trouble. If we do not come to understand the error in the way we think, our self-awareness, which is our greatest blessing, is also our downfall.
